Thank you so much for joining our first lesson of May. I was really happy to see you! In today's lesson, we continued studying Lesson 9 on i‑adjectives. We learned new adjectives, vocabulary, and phrases, the present and past affirmative and negative forms of i‑adjectives.
For example: the present, affirmative * New York no delivery's pizza wa dou desuka? (How is the delivery's pizza in New York?) → It can be answered, hayai desu. (It's fast) or osoi desu. (It's slow) * Costco no sushi wa doudesuka?, (How is the sushi at Costco?) → It can be answered, oishi i desu. (They taste good.), or ooi desu. (They are a lot.)
For example: the past tense, affirmative * nihon no delivery's pizza wa dou dedhitaka? (How was the delivery's pizza in Japan?) → It can be answered, .hayakatta desu (It was fast) or oso katta desu.(It was slow.) * Costco no sushi wa doudeshitaka?, (How was the sushi at Costco?) → It can be answered, oishi katta desu. (They tasted good.), or oo kkata desu. (They were a lot.)
You have a solid understanding of the present, negative, past, and past negative forms of i‑adjectives. You did an excellent job today — truly wonderful work. I also enjoyed how we shared so many stories that we went past the lesson time. It makes me happy if you felt the same way. Thank you again. See you again on Friday!
Thank you for the lesson today! You were able to say the numbers in Japanese well. You were also working hard on your self-introduction in Japanese. I look forward to seeing you in the lesson again.
