Thank you so much for joining the lesson as always! It was great to see you again. In today's lesson, we continued studying Lesson 1, Invitation. We visited a Japanese amusement park website and practiced using "masenka”and“shimashou" to give positive and negative responses. We also used the phrases we've learned so far to have a conversation, which was wonderful.
About "chotto yasumi mashou", Chotto" is a very common Japanese word. People use it in many situations, like chotto sumimasen or chotto matte kudasai. I also explained a little about the dictionary form. We will study this in the next stage. The dictionary form is created by removing masu, and the verb ends with the vowel "u ” such as taberu and miru.
We explored a Japanese amusement park website, and you successfully used a variety of phrases to communicate. Today's lesson was excellent as well. Thank you for your hard work. I look forward to seeing you again on Friday.
