We can now have conversations like this. You showed a clear understanding of the phrase "しにいきました", and I really appreciate that you remembered it. Your work was excellent. おつかれさまでした! I'll see you next Tuesday for the make‑up lesson in Zoom Room 55. Have a wonderful Easter!
Starting Friday, April 10, let’s have our lesson at 10:30 PM on Zoom 33. If that doesn’t work for you, please contact the office or me directly at least 24 hours in advance.
Hiragana is the first hurdle when learning Japanese. It may feel challenging, but most students learn it within about a month, so please practice by pronouncing each character as you write it again and again. Once you learn hiragana, you’ll be able to read many things when you come to Japan, which makes it much more enjoyable. ■ Recommended app: Hiragana Memory Hint

Thank you for joining the first lesson of April. It was great to see you again! In today's lesson, we continued practicing Lesson 7. You asked me questions using various vocabulary, phrases, and verbs, such as: * Kinō undō shimashita ka? (Did you exercise yesterday?) * Ashita ryōri shimasu ka? (Will you cook tomorrow?) * Ashita doko e ikimasu ka? (Where will you go tomorrow?) Thank you for asking such good questions — excellent work!
Then we moved on to Lesson 8, where we practiced using various verbs and adding expressions that show purpose. We also reviewed the four forms of Japanese verbs. In Japanese, the verb appears at the end of the sentence. The basic sentence structure is S–O–V: Subject, Object, Verb.
You showed a good understanding of how to use the four forms to create simple questions and answers. Thank you for your effort! See you again next Tuesday. Have a wonderful Easter!
