Konbanwa! I heard that today is Vashti-san's birthday—happy birthday! Thank you so much for spending part of your special day taking this lesson. Wishing you a healthy and wonderful year ahead! In today's lesson, we checked the vocabulary, verbs, and nouns in the textbook and used some of them to create your daily schedule. You also used the phrases for time,"from" and "until". That was an excellent effort! Since you've been studying so well and clearly understand the material, I would like to teach you another appropriate expression. Great job! Have a great week then. See you next time. Stay well!

Konbanwa! Thank you for always joining the lessons. I'm happy we could study together. Today, we'll look at how to respond to invitations using verbs and adding the expression "-mashou", Such as "isshoni benkyo shimasenka?",If yes, "benkyo shimashou, let's study", if not,"kondoni shimashou"(May be next time.) Let's + verb means "(shi)mashou", a verb ending which indicates the first person's volition or invitation in foprmal speech. Although the volitional form is usually studied at the intermediate level, responding with -mashou is more appropriate in this context. We have checked the verbs and nouns in the textbook. Please think about your daily schedule before the next lesson. It will be helpful if you choose some of the verbs and nouns we studied in Lesson 8 and use them in your plan.Let's try make your daily schedule! Thank you for your hard work today too! Have a great week then. See you next time. Stay well!
